Nine innovative cases from Hubei enterprises have been selected for the China Association for Science and Technology’s ‘2024 Voices of Tech Enterprises’

<bold>Recently, the 2024 Collection of Typical Innovation Cases for Enterprises—“The Best Voices of Tech Enterprises 2024”—compiled by the Enterprise Innovation Service Center of the China Association for Science and Technology, was released to the public. Nine innovation cases from Hubei enterprises were selected. Among them, one case—“Green Leadership: ‘Carbon-Seeking the Future’” submitted by Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. of Baosteel Group, recommended by the Wuhan Municipal Association for Science and Technology—was chosen for the Organizational Innovation section; five cases—“Smart Light Trucks for a New Era,” submitted by Dongfeng Huashen Automobile Co., Ltd., recommended by the Shiyan Municipal Association for Science and Technology; “Safeguarding the Underground ‘Lifelines’ of Cities,” submitted by China Construction Third Bureau Green Industry Investment Co., Ltd., recommended by the Wuhan Municipal Association for Science and Technology; “Laser Engines Illuminating a Green Future,” submitted by Huagong Farley Cutting & Welding Systems Engineering Co., Ltd., recommended by the Ezhou Municipal Association for Science and Technology; “Innovation Boosting the Development of Green and Environmental Protection Industries,” submitted by Hubei Zhenhua Chemical Co., Ltd., recommended by the Huangshi Municipal Association for Science and Technology; and “Jointly Building a Green Photovoltaic ‘Industrial Chain’,” submitted by Geely Silicon Valley (Gucheng) Technology Co., Ltd., recommended by the Xiangyang Municipal Association for Science and Technology—were selected for the Technological Innovation section; and three cases—“Technology Outlining the Beauty of Green Building Materials,” submitted by Hubei Meiyada Group Co., Ltd., recommended by the Xiangyang Municipal Association for Science and Technology; “Mastering Core Technologies in Bone Repair Materials,” submitted by Hubei Qiangyao Biotechnology Co., Ltd., recommended by the Ezhou Municipal Association for Science and Technology; and “Providing Safe Support for Flight into the Skies,” submitted by Hubei Hangju Technology Co., Ltd., recommended by the Xiaogan Municipal Association for Science and Technology—were selected for the Process Innovation section.</bold>The call for and presentation of exemplary innovation cases from enterprises is organized by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). Relying on the science and technology associations within industrial parks and enterprises, this initiative seeks to identify and promote a batch of innovative cases that serve as outstanding models in organizational innovation, technological innovation, and process innovation. Through sharing these innovation stories, enterprise宣讲 teams vigorously uphold the spirit of scientists, inspire to firmly believe in the new national system led by the Party, and continuously enhance their sense of historical responsibility and urgency in achieving high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and strength. In 2024, the call for exemplary innovation cases from enterprises was simultaneously launched in 12 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities—including Tianjin, Shanxi, Jilin, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, and Hunan. After multiple rounds of selection, a total of 1,591 exemplary cases and 120宣讲 representatives were identified nationwide. Over 30宣讲 events, combining online and offline formats, were organized to comprehensively showcase the remarkable achievements of Chinese enterprises in scientific and technological innovation, effectively boosting enterprises’ enthusiasm for innovation.Enterprises are the main players in scientific and technological innovation, and enterprise-based science and technology workers are a vital force driving such innovation. The nine Hubei enterprises selected this time fully demonstrate Hubei’s robust innovation vitality, outstanding scientific and technological strength, and pioneering spirit of boldly taking the lead.
