The 11th Wuhan International Green Building and Construction Materials Expo 2018 will be held as scheduled from April 18 to 20 at the Wuhan International Expo Center. Meanwhile, six complementary academic events will take place one after another, further enhancing the quality of the Wuhan Building Expo.

The “2018 Seminar on the Development and Technological Application of Prefabricated Buildings,” hosted by the Prefabricated Building Branch of the Wuhan Construction Industry Association, focuses on the currently hottest topic nationwide—prefabricated buildings—and responds to the vigorous momentum of prefabricated building development across Hubei Province. Following the series of lectures delivered in Wuhan by experts from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development at the previous event, this year’s seminar once again brings together a stellar lineup of industry leaders to jointly discuss issues related to the technological application of prefabricated buildings. Meanwhile, the “2018 Series Standards Promotion Conference for Prefabricated Buildings,” organized by the Hubei Provincial Construction Industry Association, places particular emphasis on the promotion and implementation of the relevant series standards.

In the context of rapid growth and fragmentation in the doors and windows industry, the Hubei Provincial Association for Building Energy Conservation is hosting the “2018 Hubei Province Building Energy-Saving Doors and Windows Standards Technical Seminar,” which will provide an interpretation of the “Technical Guidelines for Building System Doors and Windows” RISN-TG026-2016 and facilitate discussions on the research, development, and application of energy-saving door and window systems. Meanwhile, the Wuhan Survey and Design Association is organizing a “BIM Technology Application Lecture,” another hot topic in the current development of the construction industry. BIM technology is crucial for improving construction efficiency and is closely interconnected with design, materials, and equipment.

Given the significant upward trend in the scale of decorative materials exhibited at this year’s China International Building & Decoration Fair, the “2018 Training Workshop on Doubling Sales Performance for Distributors in the Building Materials and Home Furnishings Industry” is a valuable benefit offered by the Fair to professional visitors from cities, prefectures, and counties. The workshop provides training specifically tailored to the operation of building materials and home furnishings stores, offering new business models and fresh perspectives.
